Distributions are while supplies last. All are welcome, regardless of home county or reason for need. IDs or proof of address/income are NOT required. Please arrive no earlier than two hours before the scheduled start time. Walk-ups should aim to arrive an hour after the scheduled start time. September 13th: Chasing Sunsets Inc 3rd annual car show for mental health and suicide prevention. Union School Corporation, Modoc beginning at 9am. September 15th: Clear The Haze is an upcoming town hall series hosted by the LIVE Coalition/Henry County Health Department. This is a call to action on youth substance use. Part 2: Breaking the Cycle – the Role of Family, School, and Community is the second in this series on Monday, September 15th from 5-6pm at the REMC Community Room (3400 IN-3 in New Castle). October 4th: Edgewood Volunteer Fire Department 3317 Nichol Ave Anderson 46011 will be Hosting Dan’s Fish/Chicken Fry on Oct 4, 2025. The Money we make from the Fundraiser is used to buy Equipment and Training Materials. Adults are $13.00. Come out and Meet the Edgewood Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians.
October 11th: The Khloe V. Martin Memorial Scholarship Memorial Bike Ride: Registration 10:30am, kick stands up at 11:30am. Starts at Khloe V Martin Memorial Ballfield (Playacres Park in Fairmount), ends the American Legion Post 313 in Fairmount, $20 per rider $10 per passenger. Cornhole tournament, $30 per team. registration at 12:00pm, bags fly at 1:00pm. Huge raffle with big items. Sarah Barton and second that band playing live and food. This event supports a scholarship for a local high school student in memory of Miss Khloe Victoria Martin and also promotes ending gun violence. Khloe was a victim of gun violence 12/30/2020.
