* Delaware County Saturday, May 3 at 10am at Second Harvest Food Bank, 6621 N Old SR 3, Muncie
Distributions are while supplies last. All are welcome, regardless of home county or reason for need. IDs or proof of address/income are NOT required. Please arrive no earlier than two hours before the scheduled start time. Walk-ups should aim to arrive an hour after the scheduled start time. May 3rd: If your interested in pickleball come play inside with us at Old Town Hill Baptist Church on south Burlington Drive in Muncie from 8-11am. There is no cost and we have the equipment, other then gym shoes. We are still learning so come join us and have some fun, meet new people and get some exercise.
May 3rd: Muncie Mama’s Market – Mother’s Day Edition at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Heartland Hall from 10am-4pm! Admission at the door. The first 20 customers get a gift bag full of coupons and gifts from all of the vendors! 55+ CURATED vendors geared towards moms, kiddos, women, teen girls, dog moms, grandmas, plant parents, aunties, sweet lovers, and friends. But everyone is welcome and will find something!
May 3rd: New Castle Cool Climate Festival First Saturday in May at the New Castle Arts Park Pavilion from 11am-3pm
Food, Music & Entertainment, Vendors, kids activities, and exhibitors sharing information about the environment and ways we can make Henry County, and our world, a better place to live. May 3rd: 4th annual car & bike show beginning at 11am. Presented by Game Changers RC. Located at 900 W 8th Street Muncie. Any vehicle is welcome, audio competition, power wheel races, burnout box. May 3rd: Monroe Central Marching Band will be hosting their annual “Smokey and the Band Kids” Hog Roast from 5-7pm. Meals, including pulled pork and sides will be served car-side from the Monroe Central High School concessions stand. Come out to enjoy a delicious meal and support the Monroe Central Marching Band!
May 6th: We’re proud to once again help spread the word about this year’s SmashCancer event on Tuesday, May 6th at the Delta High School tennis courts! The Delta and Yorktown Girls’ Tennis teams will face off between 4:30pm & 9pm. SmashCancer is much more than a tennis match between two rival schools. It’s an annual effort to raise money for cancer treatment in Delaware County. Join them for the 13th year of the SmashCancer tradition and see how we can help the lives of people in our community. May 22nd: Pasta for a Purpose Spaghetti Supper to benefit the Soup Kitchen of Muncie at Heartland Hall North, Delaware County Fairgrounds on May 22 from 4:30-7:30pm. Bring the whole family for a fun and meaningful night out! Enjoy a hearty spaghetti dinner, music , and a silent auction full of great finds — all while supporting the Soup Kitchen of Muncie. It’s a night of food, fun, and giving back as we work together to help feed our neighbors in need. Come hungry and leave happy knowing you’ve made a difference! Supper includes Spaghetti with meat or tomato sauce, garlic bread, salad, dessert and a drink. Dine in or To go available. Tickets: 12 and older- $10 minimum donation 5 to 11 years old- $8 minimum donation 4 and under- Free. May 26th: EBSA presents the 10th annual Memorial Day Car, Bike and Truck Show! The car show will take place at the Eaton Community Center across from Eaton Elementary School. Registration will take place from 8-11am and the entry fee is $15 per vehicle. The first 75 cars registered will be awarded a dash plaque. Other awards will include:
Top 25, Board Voted Best in Show, Top 3 Bikes and Kids Choice Award and these will be given out at 2pm. Pancake breakfast will be available for purchase from 7-10am, and there will be pulled pork, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for lunch Join us on Memorial Day to see some awesome cars and bikes, have some great food, listen to the DJ and have a good time!
