July 27th: The 15th annual Crew for Kids event is today only – come get a carwash for Big Brothers Big Sisters at Crew Carwash. Be sure to select the ULTIMATE wash and Crew will donate 50% of the proceeds to help youth in our community! Visit any area Crew Carwash today and be sure to ask for the ULTIMATE wash. Be Big for Kids and choose the ULTIMATE wash today! All donations and half of all ULTIMATE wash proceeds will benefit youth in our local community.


July 27th: Cardinal Greenway Century Ride – Registration and check-in are at 7am at the Cardinal Greenway Wysor Street Depot. Riders can choose multiple routes and distances up to 100 miles beginning and ending at the Muncie CG Depot. Awards will be given to those completing 25, 50 and 100 miles. Registration fee is $40 per person (ages 22+). Youth registration (ages 12-22) is $15. Registration includes t-shirt, 5 SAG stops, and lunch. Online registration closes at noon on Friday, July 26. Same day registration available. No refunds! No Rain date. All riders must wear helmets. To register for the bike ride, go to www.cardinalgreenways.org.


July 27th: Cowan Lions Club Car Show and Breakfast – Registration 7-9am. $10. An all-you-can-eat breakfast for $10 from 7am to 10am. Grand Grilling will be serving pork burgers for lunch. DJ music all day. Top 30 awards and dash plaques for the first 100 cars! All proceeds go towards Cowan Lions Club scholarships. 607 West Melissa Ave, Muncie. July 27th: Christmas in July vendor event on the square in Winchester from 9am-2pm. The Farmer’s Market will happening at the same time.


July 27th: Magicians Flea Market 9am-1pm – Hosted by the Muncie Mystifiers Magic Club at the Muncie Delaware County Senior Center located at 2517 W. 8th Street. New and used magic tricks, books, illusions, and videos will be sold. There is NO ADMISSION COST for this event. Following the flea market, professional Magician, Mentalist, and Hypnotist Bill Gladwell, will present a lecture for magicians and those interested in the magic performing arts at 2:30pm. July 28th: Backpack and Shoe Giveaway hosted by Hearts and Hands United. Delaware County Fairgrounds from 10am-2pm. Delaware County students only. Bring school IDs or proof of current address.


July 28th: Spirit Of The Run Car Show hosted by The Central Band at Muncie Southside Middle School from 4-8pm. Top 40 Trophies will be given out. The first 125 cars will get a dash plaque. Pre-entry is $10.00 or day of show is $12.00. Pre-entry forms can be picked up at T&H Sweeper. Questions contact Eric Reffitt at 765-760-8911.


July 29th: Journey Home Vets Golf Outing at Winchester Golf Club. Registration at noon. $260/team. $75/individual. Deadline 7/19. Sponsorships available. Call Justin at 765-509-2017


July 30th: Summer Health Fair 2-6pm – free school physicals and immunizations, community resources, and free backpacks while supplies last. At Ross Center at 110 W. 10th St. in Muncie.


July 31st: FREE Movie on the Green Yorktown on the Civic Green – Brave at dusk. Bring lawn chairs.

August 3rd: Future Bearcats Back-to-School Camp and 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Heekin Park. K-3rd camp 9:30a-11am. 4th-8th basketball tourney starts at 11:45am. Up to 4 players per team. Sign up at event. Lunch available. Donations accepted.


August 3rd: Winchester Moose Lodge Cruise-in – Registration starts at 8:30am. $10 per vehicle. Swap meet. Flea market. Door prizes. Breakfast 8-11am. Lunch 11am-2pm.


August 3rd: Back To School Bash 12-4pm – School supplies, games, vendors, entertainment, and more. At Punchie’s Plaza. 830 E. Kirby Avenue in Muncie.


August 10th: Dialogue Church Rummage Sale 8am-2pm. No price tag. Pay what’s fair. All proceeds go to Forest Park Delaware County Senior Center.


August 17th: Tox Away Day is for the general public of Henry County from 9am-2pm. Please bring proof of residency. Businesses, farms, municipalities, and schools may participate by making PRIOR arrangements with Henry County Recycles at least one week in advance. Tox Away day will be held at Memorial Park. August 22nd-24th: The 13th Our Lady of Perpetual Help Orphanage Rummage Sale to benefit Fr. Andre’s Our Lady of Perpetual Help Orphanage, in Haiti, will be held at Noll Hall on the campus of St. Mary Parish, 2300 W Jackson St. Items include kitchenware, tools, furniture, religious items, home furnishings, toys, sports equipment, linens, and much more. Children’s clothes will be sold by the bag. Great prices! Cash only. 8am-5pm.

September 13th: Found & Favored Ministries will present ‘The Story Tour’ on Friday, September 13th at Reardon Auditorium, Anderson IN 6:30-9:30pm.
