April 26th: Autism Rocks is a nonprofit that supports individuals with autism in Delaware County. This is a community event to help raise awareness and provide safe family fun for those individuals with autism. There will be food trucks, bounce houses, laser tag, and a raffle. April 26th: The Gaston Lions Club is hosing a warrior ‘free will’ offering chicken noodles dinner to show community support for ‘LJ’ Lori Johnson from 4-7pm. Lori’s cancer has returned for a third time. This is a moment we also remember Mr. Johnson. He did so much for our community and served many decades as a Lions Club member. April 27th: The Henry County Historical Society will host its 138th annual meeting Sunday, April 27, 2025. The event begins at 2 p.m. We will be celebrating the Grand Army of the Republic with speaker Ron Darrah from the Indiana Genealogical Society. The 2025 exhibit, Exploring the GAR in Henry County, opens. Election of HCHS Board Trustees is on the agenda. This event is free and open to the public. Distributions are while supplies last. All are welcome, regardless of home county or reason for need. IDs or proof of address/income are NOT required. Please arrive no earlier than two hours before the scheduled start time. Walk-ups should aim to arrive an hour after the scheduled start time. May 3rd: If your interested in pickleball come play inside with us at Old Town Hill Baptist Church on south Burlington Drive in Muncie from 8-11am. There is no cost and we have the equipment, other then gym shoes. We are still learning so come join us and have some fun, meet new people and get some exercise.

May 6th: We’re proud to once again help spread the word about this year’s SmashCancer event on Tuesday, May 6th at the Delta High School tennis courts! The Delta and Yorktown Girls’ Tennis teams will face off between 4:30pm & 9pm. SmashCancer is much more than a tennis match between two rival schools. It’s an annual effort to raise money for cancer treatment in Delaware County. Join them for the 13th year of the SmashCancer tradition and see how we can help the lives of people in our community. May 26th: EBSA presents the 10th annual Memorial Day Car, Bike and Truck Show! The car show will take place at the Eaton Community Center across from Eaton Elementary School. Registration will take place from 8-11am and the entry fee is $15 per vehicle. The first 75 cars registered will be awarded a dash plaque. Other awards will include:
Top 25, Board Voted Best in Show, Top 3 Bikes and Kids Choice Award and these will be given out at 2pm. Pancake breakfast will be available for purchase from 7-10am, and there will be pulled pork, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for lunch Join us on Memorial Day to see some awesome cars and bikes, have some great food, listen to the DJ and have a good time!
