The town of Parker City Holiday Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting Event with Santa
is Saturday, December 3rd. Parade of Lights begins at 6:30 p.m. and the tree lighting event starts immediately following the parade. Visit with Santa and shop downtown locations for treats and more.


Country Community Church on east 600 south in Jonesboro is inviting you for church service and a soup dinner with dessert on Sunday, December 4th from 10:30am-2pm.


The Knights of Columbus #563 at Columbian Hall on main street in Anderson are having a chicken fry supper on Saturday, December 10th from 5-7:30 pm. $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Carry-outs will be available. For more information call 765-274-5311.


On Saturday, December 10th let’s transform our neighborhood into a beautiful winter community with Light up Yorktown! Come together and join us in celebrating this holiday season by lining our streets with candle luminaries! Participating families will line the street in front of their homes and if desired, their driveways and sidewalks. The luminaries are placed 2-3 feet apart and everyone lights their candles by 5:30PM. Proceeds will benefit Boy Scout Troop 69!


Gaston Christmas Parade hits the streets at 5:30pm on Sunday, December 11th! Hosted by the Barking Cow. Lineup begins at 4:45pm at the old gym.


Rehoboth Church is having a live nativity scene at Monroe Central Elementary on Saturday, December 17th from 4-7 PM. This is a free event and can be seen by driving through or walking up. You’ll also receive a free candy cane for all visitors


The Donut 5k run/walk is Carmel, IN largest holiday run walk that sold out last year at 2,500 attendees. It’s held the day before Christmas (24th) at Carmel Racquet Club, 225 E Carmel Dr, Carmel, IN at 9am. Proceeds will benefit four local animal rescues. One of which is Anderson, Indiana’s only open admission shelter, The Animal Protection League, who works tirelessly to care for and find homes for strays and surrendered cats/dogs. The event will include an indoor post race party with donuts, an award ceremony, cash prize, vendors, silent auction, dog costume contest, and more!
