Morgan Wallen Hosts Series Of Listening Parties At His Nashville Bar Ahead Of Album Release

On his 32nd birthday on Tuesday (May 13), Morgan Wallen treated fans to a preview of his forthcoming album, I’m the Problem, at a series of listening parties at his Nashville establishment, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen. The country superstar also shared insightful stories behind the new songs, most of which stemmed from highly productive writing sessions. “We took a few writing trips for this album. All of them were extremely successful, so it’s something I’m probably going to continue doing,” Wallen said. “It’s just nice to get away to wherever and strictly focus on songwriting without any of the distractions from being at home or being with other people. It was just songwriters all in a house together, spending a majority of our time working on the album.” I’m the Problem is scheduled for release on May 16 – the same day that Wallen’s inaugural Sand in My Boots Festival kicks off in Gulf Shores, Alabama – and it includes collaborations with Tate McRae on “What I Want,” Eric Church on “No. 3 and No. 7,” as well as a duet with HARDY titled “Come Back As A Redneck.” “I’m really, really fired up for that song,” Wallen enthused.
